Scholarship Notice for Higher Education for Children of Nepal Police Personnel

As outlined in the Police Welfare Fund Operating Procedure, 2080, scholarships for higher education will be offered to children of Nepal Police personnel. This scholarship program is open to students who attended government (community) or private (institutional) schools, sat for the SEE Exam 2080, and achieved excellent grades. Eligible recipients encompass children of active, retired, martyred, disabled, or deceased police officers.

  • Application Submission Deadline: Mangshir 25, 2081 (December 10, 2024)
  • The completed form and necessary documents should be submitted to either the Kathmandu Valley Police Office in Ranipokhari or the respective Provincial Police Offices.
  • These offices are responsible for gathering and sending certified scanned copies of all documents and an Excel file to the designated email address: phqscd@nepalpolice.gov.np by the provided deadline.

Eligibility

  • Children of active police personnel.
  • Children of retired police personnel.
  • Children of martyred or disabled former police personnel.

Required Documents

  • Certified copies of the SEE mark sheet and character certificate.
  • Document verifying relationship with the parent (e.g., relationship certificate).
  • Guardian's identification card.
  • Copy of citizenship certificate.
  • For retired, disabled, and martyred families:
    1. Pension verification letter.
    2. Guardian’s citizenship certificate.
    3. Certified copy of martyrdom or disability declaration documents.
  • For active-duty personnel: Recommendation letter from the current office of assignment.
