Pokhara University Research Center (PURC) announces applications for PURC Research Grants to be funded in the fiscal year 2081/82. The eligible applicants from the constituent and affiliated institutions of Pokhara University are encouraged to apply for the grants as per the guidelines of PURC Research Grants.

  • Application submission ends: 11:59:59 pm, 25 April, 2025 (12 Baisakh, 2082)

* Number of grants in both the categories can be adjusted (total not exceeding 16) as per the number of applications.

Key eligibility criteria of principal applicant

Grant category Eligibility
Faculty Research Grant (Constituent institutions) Applicant(s) must be a faculty member of a Constituent Institution of Pokhara University with at least one year’s full-time teaching experience at the host institution.
Faculty Research Grant (Affiliated institutions) Applicant(s) must be a faculty member of an Affiliated Institution of Pokhara University with at least one year’s full-time teaching experience at the host institution.

  2. The eligibility criteria, application forms, proposal format, and other details can be found at the end of this notice. 

  3. Applicant shall submit all the required documents as indicated within the deadline. Incomplete applications and applications received after the deadline shall be forbidden from further processing.

  4. Applicant shall submit a proof of application fee deposited at the designated bank account. Write "YOUR FULL NAME" in the “remarks” field while transferring the application fee via online mode.
