Open Call for Research and Development (R&D) Proposal Contest for Technology Development Proposal - KU

Kathmandu University - Integrated Rural Development Programme/Nepal Technology Innovation Center (IRDP/NTIC), a KOICA funded project, jointly managed by Kathmandu University (KU), Nepal and Jeonbuk, National University (JBNU), Korea opens a call for all the Kathmandu University's faculty members, researchers, and PhD students with an aim to support technologies development to solve economic and social prolems of rural areas in Nepal through commercialization of innovative ideas. The technology development proposal call aims to promote integrated regional development by strenghtening Kathmandu University's research and development capabilities. The brief information about the project support fund, categories, and information is presented below. Detail information is available in the guideline attached along with the notice.

Proposal document having signed on each page by authorized personnel must be submitted no later than June 13, 2023 until 4:00 (NST). The document received later than the above-mentioned date and time will not be considered. Electronic submission must be done through email at irdp@ku.edu.np. If the last date of submission fails on a government/Kathmandu University holiday, next working day shall be considered the last day.

It is inform that this updated announcement substitutes the previously published notice dated on May 22, 2023, KU-IRDP/NTIC reserves the right to accept or reject any applications.
