The Ministry of Social Development, Lumbini Province, has announced a scholarship opportunity for eligible students to pursue undergraduate studies at Kathmandu University. As per the letter received from the Registrar's Office of Kathmandu University, one student will be recommended for a tuition fee scholarship in each of the following programs:
BE in Mining Engineering
BE in Chemical Engineering
BE in Environmental Engineering
Bachelor in Health Informatics
BSc in Environmental Science
BSc in Agriculture

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be permanent residents of Lumbini Province.
Must have completed Grade 12 in Science .
Applicants must be willing to bear all other expenses (such as admission, registration, other fees, security deposit, health insurance fees, etc.) as per the university's rules, with only the tuition fee being covered by the scholarship.
Required Documents:
A clear application with a detailed description as per the attached format of this notice.
Marksheets/gradesheets and certificates for classes 8, 10, and 12.
Certificate of Nepali Citizenship.
A letter of recommendation from the relevant ward office stating the guardian's (mother/father) profession, employment status, and estimated annual income.
An identity card verifying underprivileged citizens, issued by the Nepal Government, for a poor family background.

The mentioned documents must be scanned and compiled into a single PDF file, and can be submitted only once. Confirmation will be provided via email or phone.
The selected students will be granted a waiver only on the tuition fee for the chosen subject. They will be responsible for paying other additional university fees, such as registration fees, development fees, security fees, and health insurance fees, as per university rules.
Students must fulfill Kathmandu University’s selection and admission criteria.
