The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Office of Examination Control (OCE), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has issued an important notice regarding the extension of the application deadline for the Pre-Diploma Level Apprenticeship (24 months) program. Given the significant disruptions caused by recent rains and floods, educational institutions and applicants have encountered substantial challenges, including transportation constraints.
Accordingly, a request for an extension of the application submission deadline has been duly approved, and the entrance examination schedule has been revised to accommodate the affected parties.

Old Notice
The Examination Control Office of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, notifies all concerned regarding the application submission for the Pre-Diploma Level Free Industrial Trainee Training (Apprenticeship) Program. Eligible Nepali citizens are invited to apply for the 24-month apprenticeship for the academic session 2081/82, which is offered free of charge.
Admission to the apprenticeship program will be granted through an entrance examination. The program will be conducted by authorized affiliated institutions, partner organizations, and TECS community schools approved by the council to deliver the Industrial Trainee Training (Apprenticeship) Program.

Required Qualifications
- Must have participated in the SLC or SEE examinations, as per the Curriculum Committee's decision dated 2081/04/04.
- The applicant must be mentally and physically capable of undergoing the relevant training.
- Must be at least 16 years old and a Nepali citizen.
- Candidates from Dalit, Janajati, disabled, Muslim, Madhesi, remote area, and economically disadvantaged backgrounds must provide a recommendation letter from the concerned local authority.
Selection Basis
Eligible and interested applicants will be evaluated on a total of 100 marks, distributed as follows:

Required Documents
- Three recent passport-sized photos with a clear facial image.
- Certified copy of the SLC/SEE participation certificate.
- For candidates who completed SLC/SEE or an equivalent exam outside Nepal, a certified copy of the equivalency determination letter issued by the authority designated by the Government of Nepal.

- Transportation allowance of NPR 100 per trainee for each day of attendance.
Fees
Educational institutions are prohibited from charging examination fees to candidates. However, they must deposit NPR 500 per candidate and NPR 5,000 for notice publishing fees into the designated account of the respective council's provincial office. Furthermore, an additional NPR 3,000 must be deposited for each extra program. The institution may later request reimbursement for these fees from the ENSSURE project.
