Kathmandu University calls for applicants for NORHED II project, Research-Based Education for the Development of Hydropower Professionals (Hydro-Himalaya). The NORHED II project is funded by Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD).
The initiative intends to improve hydropower engineering research-based education at KU by creating high-quality research, high-quality graduates, and a better-qualified workforce.
Qualified, hardworking, and results-oriented professionals are encouraged to apply for Ph.D. studies as part of the initiative.

Position: Full-time Ph.D. candidate as per the following criteria

Minimum Eligibility
- CGPA of 3.0 or B grade or equivalent in Masters degree in Engineering.
- Proficient in the English Language.
Expected Qualifications
- Priority will be given to candidates having higher academic qualifications.
- Experience in scientific publications will be added advantage.
- At least one year of professional work experience in the relevant domain.
- Female candidates and disadvantaged groups are encouraged to apply.
