Reform Grants Support for Community Campuses
Application Call for Scheme D
The Second Higher Education Project (SHEP) envisages supporting reform in higher education to achieve enhanced quality and relevance of higher education, improve access for academically qualified under-privileged students and promote effective management and financial sustainability of academic institutions. Reform Grants is one of the main components of SHEP to support institutional development and enhancement of quality of higher education. Earlier, nine community campuses in the Scheme A, ten community campuses in the Scheme B and twenty eight community campuses in the Scheme C were selected and are receiving the reform default_scholarship support from SHEP.
Currently it has been decided to expand the Reform Grants support to 43 campuses under the Scheme D. The first priority of campus selection for this Scheme will be to ensure one campus each from the districts currently not covered by SHEP Reform Grants. The selection for the remaining quota will be made through regional competition.
