In recognition of outstanding contributions to foundational education, the Principals Association of Nepal (PAN) has announced the Best Basic Schools of Nepal. These schools were selected after a rigorous evaluation process based on 25 educational standards, with a focus on leadership, teaching quality, community engagement, and innovation in basic education (Grades 1–8).
The selection committee, chaired by renowned education expert Professor Dr. Bidya Nath Koirala, emphasized the role of strong leadership and inclusive practices in shaping the early learning experience of students across Nepal.
Award Ceremony and Conference Details
These top performing basic schools will be recognized at the upcoming PAN’s Second National Conference 2082, set to take place on June 6, 2025 at City Hall, Pokhara. The theme of the conference is "Redefining Leadership Dimensions: Pioneering Change for School Excellence"
The event is expected to bring together over 1,000 educators, policymakers, and students from all seven provinces to discuss transformative leadership and innovation in Nepal’s education system.
