United Alumni Organizes Factory Visit for Students

United College (UC)’s students of BBS second year, BBM IV-semester visited Chandika Print Pack and Radha Krishna Biscuit Enterprises at Banepa. The visit was planned and managed by United Alumni.

United Alumni Association learns about its alumni’s businesses and promotes them on its official social media. We visit factories and business places and take a tour to get more connected with the alumni and their businesses. Additionally, students of United College and United Academy are also invited for educational visits at Alumni businesses and factories.

Ms. Simon Khatri from Bachelor’s Department, Production Teacher Mr. Ram Khadka, Alumni representative Mr. Rishav Nayak, UC Principal Dr. Lal Rapacha, Director of UCEII Dr. Deependra Shah from UCEII and Discipline Counselor Mr. Nil Maharjan accompanied us for the visit.

Mr. Suden Shrestha founded Krishna and Kumar dot Trade house, an import house importing plastic raw materials for domestic trade, the sole agent for SRF films, Sampark Films, and Bhavin Cora Masterbatch, and also a local distributor in Kavre for P&G, Kellogg's, Snickers, Kinder Joy.

Located in an open area and eco-friendly, United Alumni Mr. Suden Shrestha, Batch of 2000 AD, who completed his +2 from United Academy started the enterprise in 2062. Chandika Print Pack is one of the largest plastic packaging industries in Kathmandu. The factory has been manufacturing biscuits products since 2068 BS for Radha Krishna Biscuits industries and Smart food industries.

Mr. Shrestha welcomed and hosted the visit himself. Mr. Shrestha did his BBS and MBA in London. He showed us around the factory and described how packet printing works step by step. All the plants and machinery were imported and there were more than 50 staff in Chandika Print Pack and over 80 staff in the biscuit factory.

Chandika Print Pack is a distinguished plastic manufacturer and printer. Established in 2017AD they offer a variety of plastic products and services to business houses and establishments. They have extensive experience in the plastic packaging industry and offer their products and services Nepal-wide. Chandika Print Pack has a prestigious position in the market by serving its clients up to a significant level of satisfaction. Most of the product packaging we see in the market is printed Chandika Print Pack.

The packets of products like toilet papers, wrappers for every water bottle of Nepal, sanitary napkins, bread, jar neck seal, cookies tray, confectionery twist wrap, chips, biscuits, snacks, vacuum pouches, lid seal rolls, detergent pouches, ice cream/confectionery packaging, noodles, and many more are made by them. As plastics are non-biodegradable, all the excess products and wastes are reused or recycled in an ingenious way.

Radha Krishna Biscuit Enterprises is located inside the same area as the print pack factory. Students of United College had the opportunity to see how biscuits were produced. Radha Krishna Biscuit Enterprises had 25-30 biscuit products launched and 15-20 items are regularly manufactured. The cleanliness of the factory was very well maintained. They produce biscuits that are affordable to every group of people.

The students along with the staff got to learn a lot about the factory, the production process, plants and machinery, and our alumni and his journey itself.

Mr. Suden Shrestha is an inspiration to all young people who came back to Nepal and started nation-leading enterprises in Nepal. United College and United Academy are honoured to be invited for the factory visit. We are proud to see our alumni running a successful business.
