United Academy, located in Kumaripati, Lalitpur, brought the novel Ek Chihan by Hridaya Chandra Singh Pradhan to life through a captivating drama performed on the 4th and 5th of Mangsir, 2081. Directed by Rabin Dong of Ojas Theatre, the play was staged in the academy's pavilion hall and aimed to enrich the academic experience of its grade 12 students.
Students from science, management, law, and humanities faculties eagerly attended the performances, expressing enthusiasm for the drama's ability to deepen their understanding of the novel. The play, performed four times over two days, was followed by an insightful session led by Nepali department head Devika Rai, who elaborated on how the scenes aligned with the text. Students reported that this discussion further clarified the novel’s themes and narrative.
Director Rabin Dong expressed gratitude to the academy's leadership team, including founders Principal Dr. Lal Rapacha, Academic Head Basant Nepali, Coordinator Nirsingh Rai, Deputy Coordinator Shankar Khadka, and Nepali department head Devika Rai, along with other faculty members, staff, and students. He praised their support in making the event successful and providing a platform to stage the drama.
