Presidential Graduate School, in academic collaboration with Westcliff University, USA, has commenced Presidential Innovista 2.0, 2026, a two-day technology and business carnival featuring more than 55 student-led projects. The event is being held on Asar 11 and 12, 2083 (June 25–26, 2026) and aims to showcase student innovation while creating opportunities to connect with industries, investors, and startup ecosystems.

This year's Innovista is centered around five major technology domains: Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence, IoT and Robotics, Cyber Village, Software, and Technoversity. Students have demonstrated a wide range of practical innovations addressing real-world challenges across technology, business, agriculture, tourism, and cybersecurity.

Among the featured projects are an FPV drone capable of flower showering, Robo Soccer, a football-playing robot, a music-responsive dancing robot, and an AI-powered emotion detection system that recommends music based on users' facial expressions. The exhibition also includes cybersecurity projects focused on online fraud prevention, data protection, and banking security.

Other innovations on display include a smart irrigation system, a smart home solution with automatic gas leak detection, alarm, and gas shut-off system, tourism promotion software, and a 360-degree remote-controlled vehicle, demonstrating how emerging technologies can be applied to everyday life and industry.

According to Laxman KC, Founder and Chairman of Presidential Graduate School, the projects showcased at Innovista have been developed entirely by students and possess strong commercial potential beyond academic demonstrations. He stated that the institution aims to connect promising innovations with industries, investors, and the market while supporting their commercialization through the school's Business Incubation Center. The institution also plans to encourage collaboration between IT and business students to prepare projects for startups and investment opportunities.

The event also features innovations developed by more than 34 recently graduated Grade 12 students from different colleges under the Technoversity Pavilion. The participants developed their projects through a one-week mentorship program conducted by Presidential Graduate School students. Winners in this category will receive cash prizes of up to NPR 100,000.

About the initiative, Kalpana Gurung, Director and Principal of Presidential Graduate School, stated that Innovista serves not only as a platform to showcase students' creativity but also as a bridge connecting them with higher education, employment, entrepreneurship, and international opportunities. She highlighted the institution's collaboration with Westcliff University, along with its credit transfer facilities, Skill Up Department, and industry partnerships, as key components in preparing students for global careers and entrepreneurial ventures.

The exhibition is targeted at Grade 12 graduates, undergraduate students, technology enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, investors, and individuals interested in the IT sector. According to the institution, Innovista will be organized annually with the long-term objective of strengthening collaboration between academia, industry, and investors while fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students. Presidential Graduate School currently has approximately 1,400 students, supported by more than 90 faculty members and over 45 administrative staff.
