The NEB students at Premier International IB Continuum School have made impressive strides in innovation and entrepreneurship through three standout student-led initiatives: The Voice magazine, the Futurepreneurs Fair 2025, and the NEB STEAM Fair. These projects, entirely conceived and executed by the students themselves, underscore the NEB program's core strength on student ownership and leadership.Business Meets Creativity: Futurepreneurs Fair 2025
Aspiring business leaders and marketing enthusiasts showcased their talents at the Futurepreneurs Fair 2025. Tasked with the challenge, "If I were the marketing manager, what would I do?", student teams developed comprehensive brand strategies and marketing campaigns for prominent Nepali businesses including Goldstar, Century, Makkuse, and Silk Artisanal Creamery.
Their bold, research-backed pitches impressed a panel of industry experts, including Vidushi Rana (Executive Director, Goldstar), Shobana Dugar (Executive Director, Century), Mr. Ming (Executive Director, Makkuse), and Rishabh Agrawal (Founder, Silk). The judges lauded the students' strategic thinking, creativity, and presentation skills. Ms. Rana of Goldstar was particularly impressed, stating, "I was surprised to see that 16–17-year-olds can present marketing campaigns at this level," and even offered internship opportunities to the students who presented for Goldstar. The event provided invaluable professional feedback and validation for the young entrepreneurs.NEB STEAM Fair: Innovation with Impact
The NEB STEAM Fair celebrated the fusion of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through five ambitious, problem-solving projects. Students presented innovative solutions to real-world challenges, demonstrating both creativity and precision. Notable projects included TrashTrawler, a floating waste collection system for water bodies; the Line Follower Robot, an automation solution for cleaning large areas; EcoScribes, a sustainable writing materials initiative focused on recycling and plant-based inks; LibraTech, a barcode-based inventory management system for school libraries; and Silva, a student-created brand offering natural lip balms and perfumes.
What set these projects apart was not just their creativity and feasibility, but the self-driven spirit behind them. Students not only ideated, engineered, and tested their prototypes but also raised the necessary funds to bring these ideas to life. Their work drew acclaim from guests including Mr. Sunoj Das Shrestha from Karkhana and Ms. Saloni Rajbhandari from Laali, who commended students for their innovative thinking, teamwork, and commitment to sustainability.
Student Voice in Action: The Voice
Language and Literature students launched The Voice, a fully student-run magazine capturing the school year through their unique perspectives. Taking complete creative and operational control, students managed all aspects of the publication, from article curation and graphic design to editing and team management, including hiring and editorial decisions. The magazine serves as a vibrant record of the academic year and stands as a testament to student leadership, ownership, and the powerful role of youth voice in shaping school culture.
Through these diverse initiatives, Premier International School's NEB students have demonstrated remarkable initiative, collaboration, and a strong sense of purpose. The NEB Program at Premier has proven to be a dynamic and real-world-focused academic pathway, empowering students to not just excel in academics but also to build campaigns, lead teams, and create tangible solutions to real-world needs. The program's unique blend of academic rigor and experiential learning continues to cultivate confident, independent, and visionary young leaders.
