Patan College for Professional Studies (PCPS College), affiliated with Britain's renowned University of Bedfordshire, will provide seed capital to students who want to start a startup. On the occasion of the college's convocation ceremony, Chairman of LBEF Group, Pankaj Kumar Jalan, informed that seed capital will be provided based on excellent projects to develop youth entrepreneurship.
While addressing the graduating students from the Computer Science and Software Engineering BSc 2025 and Software Engineering BSc 2026, Chairman Jalan said that, because a youth entrepreneurship development program has been launched in the college, seed capital will be provided to students for excellent projects.
He said that to break the belief that one must go abroad after taking a certificate from a Nepali university and to create employment, they have brought forward the concept of startup capital.

According to Chairman Jalan, students who graduate from the college will receive seed capital for their business projects, as well as other technical assistance. In the ceremony organized in Kathmandu on Tuesday, a total of 57 students were graduated, including 32 from Computer Science and Software Engineering BSc 2025 and 25 from Software Engineering BSc 2026. Established in the year 2017, PCPS has been successful in establishing itself as a leading educational institution of the country.
Chairman Jalan stated that PCPS has realized the dream of providing international-level education to Nepali students within the country.
In the program, Prakash Kajeriwal, Executive Director of LBEF Group, said that they are committed to providing international-level education within the country. Similarly, Professor Andrew Church of Britain's University of Bedfordshire expressed happiness to be able to collaborate with PCPS and expressed commitment to move forward by collaborating in the coming days as well.
