NIST Higher Education Sucessfully Hosts Grand Graduation Ceremony 2082

NIST Higher Education celebrated its grand convocation ceremony for the academic year 2082 at Yala Durbar, Sankhamul, honoring 75 undergraduate and postgraduate students from diverse programs, including BCA, BBM, BBS, MBS, B.Tech. (Food), B.Sc./M.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Biotechnology, and B.Pharmacy.

The event highlighted academic excellence, innovation, and the graduates’ potential to become future leaderChief Guest Prof. Dr. Tirtha Khaniya, former Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University, urged graduates to “use knowledge as a tool for social transformation, not just a certificate.” He emphasized the role of research and entrepreneurship in nation-building.

Keynote speaker Mr. Chiranjivi Nepal, former Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, inspired the youth to “become job creators, not job seekers,” stressing innovation, risk-taking, and startups as pillars of progress.

Presided over by Campus Chief Dr. Madhav Prasad Baral, the ceremony saw emotional moments as graduates received their degrees. Parents’ tears of joy and students’ hopeful smiles painted a vivid picture of achievement.

Dr. Baral appealed to graduates to “contribute to Nepal’s development,” adding, “Opportunities exist here—recognize them before looking abroad.”

The event featured cultural dances, symbolizing Nepal’s rich heritage. Graduates, faculty, and families bonded through group photos and heartfelt embraces, making the day unforgettable.

The ceremony concluded with a communal feast and sweets.
