National College, situated in Dhumarahi, Kathmandu, hosted a special guest session on "Banking & Fintech in Nepal" on May 24, 2025. The session featured industry experts from e-Sewa, Nepal’s leading digital payment platform. The interactive session was organized for students of the Bachelor in Development Finance (BDFin) II Year/ II Semester, and offered a deep dive into the rapidly evolving digital finance landscape of the country.
Representatives from e-Sewa shared valuable insights into current trends, challenges, and innovations shaping the fintech sector in Nepal. The interactive session covered topics ranging from mobile wallets and digital banking to the future of financial inclusion through technology, providing students with a practical perspective that complemented their academic learning.
The engaging discussion was followed by a Q&A segment, where students enthusiastically participated and explored real-world applications of financial technologies. In appreciation of their valuable contribution, Mr. Indra Giri, faculty member of National College, presented a token of appreciation to the e-Sewa team on behalf of the college.
