KIST College organized a guest lecture on “Cybersecurity in Nepal: Opportunities, Career Pathways & Industry Insights” for its BIT 2nd, 4th, and 6th Semester students. The session was delivered by Drabid Subedi, Cybersecurity & Security Assurance Lead, who shared valuable insights into Nepal’s cybersecurity landscape, emerging career opportunities, industry expectations, and the skills required to succeed in this rapidly evolving field. Students gained a better understanding of cybersecurity domains, professional certifications, and future industry trends.
The event also marked the launch of Red Hat Academy and EC-Council learning opportunities at KIST, further strengthening our commitment to providing industry-relevant education and globally recognized learning pathways for our students. The launch of these initiatives supports the development of Linux, system administration, networking, and cybersecurity skills, preparing students for the growing career opportunities highlighted during the session.
