Kantipur City College (KCC), affiliated with Purbanchal University, released the 11th edition of "Management Scholars Magazine" on June 20, 2026, Saturday at the KCC college hall. The publication was prepared by the students of the BBA faculty. The magazine was jointly inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Tilak Raj Pandey, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Bank Limited; Special Guest, Mr. Suman Katawal, Chairman of KCC; Mr. Indra Kumar Shrestha, General Secretary of the Management Association of Nepal; Dr. Janardan Bista, Deputy Director of Radio Nepal; and Principal Mr. Raju Kattel.

During the magazine review, Dr. Janardan Bista stated that the content covers all sectors and noted that the "failure stories" in the publication are a particular feature. Indra Kumar Shrestha, General Secretary of the Management Association of Nepal, mentioned that the knowledge gained in the classroom has assisted in real-life applications. Special Guest Mr. Suman Katawal, Chairman of KCC, remarked that the magazine developed the knowledge needed to transform students' thoughts into plans and provided experience in starting startups. Chief Guest Mr. Tilak Raj Pandey, CEO of Nepal Bank Limited, stated that students with entrepreneurial mindsets should consider how they can contribute to society and the country.
Other speakers at the program mentioned that the magazine helped students apply classroom learning in practice. The guests noted the students' efforts and suggested continuing this initiative. KCC Principal Mr. Raju Kattel stated that the college is assisting in developing students' soft skills and indicated that preparations are underway to make the magazine research-oriented and to make it available online.

Ms. Puja Pokharel, Head of the Management Faculty, said that the Management Scholars Magazine is published annually, with the main responsibility given to students in the final semester of the BBA program to enhance their management and writing skills.
The college, which has received QAA from the University Grants Commission, has been running the BBA program since 2005 and is a leading institution for BBA studies. The release program, organized by the BBA 2021 batch, was attended by students, teachers, professors, department heads, and journalists.
