Eco Thaili Team Heads to Bangkok for Global Hult Prize Summit

Manjil Gautam and Krish Shrestha, key members of the innovative team 'Eco Thaili', along with Campus Director Samip Lamsal, have embarked on an exciting journey to Bangkok. The team, representing Amrit Science Campus, secured their place at the prestigious international summit after winning the Hult Prize on-campus round in February.

Eco Thaili will join 55 other teams from across the globe, all vying for a coveted spot in the global accelerator program, which offers a grand prize of USD 1 million in funding.

Set against the backdrop of Chulalongkorn University, the summit will kick off on June 21 with an orientation session. On June 22, Eco Thaili will present their groundbreaking idea in the preliminary round. Should they advance, they will join a select few in pitching their concepts on June 23, competing for the top position. The summit will conclude on June 24 with a special tour day organized by the hosts, providing participants with a unique opportunity to explore the local culture and innovations.

The team's participation in this summit not only highlights their remarkable achievements but also showcases the innovative spirit of Nepal on a global stage. Their success at the Hult Prize competition and representation of Amrit Science Campus is a testament to their dedication and ingenuity.
