March 09, 2022

The annual Extra Curricular Activities ECA Meet 2078 has been launched by the Texas International Education Network. Mr. Bhesraj Pokhrel, the College's Chief Executive Director, inaugurated the ECA Meet on the Texas campus. Pokharel, speaking at the opening ceremony, stated, "It is vital to offer such activities to students, which contributes to the students' overall growth." Every year in Texas, such programs are held.

A mini-marathon kicked off the ECA meet. A total of 500 college students, including Plus Two, undergraduate, and postgraduate students, participated in the mini-marathon. The marathon started in Chabahil and ended at the college grounds after passing through Sukedhara, Dhumbarai, Handigaun, Gyaneshwor, Sano Gaucharan, and Gaushala. Mr. Shyam Sundar Shrestha, Kale's Assistant Principal, stated that Texas is going forward with the co-curricular program, citing athletics as a significant part of students' overall growth.

Sports are vital because they offer discipline and physical, mental, and intellectual growth to pupils, as per business development director Narayan Pokharel. According to him, the ECA Meet has garnered attention among the competing students.

According to ECA Coordinator Yuvraj Basnet, indoor and outdoor activities and numerous sports were conducted as part of the yearly action plan. "Students appear to be preoccupied with training in their unique way to win the tournament," said Mr. Basnet.

The meet's grand finale will take place on March 10. On the same day, Singing Idol and Dancing Star winners will be unveiled. The college has said that the winning students would get rewards on the same day.
