The March 2025 ACCA examination session has brought exceptional news for Nepal’s academic community, as students from the Certified College of Accountancy (CCA) have once again achieved results that significantly exceed global benchmarks. Among all Approved Learning Partners (ALPs) in Nepal, CCA had the highest number of students appearing for the exams—a testament to its trust and scale. Even more impressively, CCA recorded the highest pass percentage of 88%, setting a new standard for performance and academic excellence.
Demonstrating consistent success, CCA candidates performed remrkably across both the Applied Skills and Strategic Professional Levels, reflecting the institution’s emphasis on quality education and result-driven learning.
In the Applied Skills Level, the difference between the global and CCA pass percentages is both significant and telling. In Performance Management (PM), the global pass rate stood at 42%, while CCA reported an impressive 76%. Likewise, in Financial Management (FM), students achieved an 84% pass rate, far surpassing the global 50%. The pass percentages in other subjects, such as Taxation (TX), Financial Reporting (FR), and Audit & Assurance (AA), were also notably higher at CCA—88%, 73%, and 78%, respectively— compared to the global averages of 55%, 49%, and 47%.
Performance at the Strategic Professional Level also tells a compelling story. In the Strategic Business Leader (SBL) paper, CCA’s pass rate reached 82%, well above the global average of 53%. Similarly, in Strategic Business Reporting (SBR), CCA achieved an 81% pass rate, far ahead of the 50% global result. These results demonstrate not only academic strength but also students' mastery of complex professional-level concepts and skills required to thrive in the global financial landscape.
