About Vocational and Skill Development Training Center

Poverty alleviation can be supported by conducting skill-oriented training, developing skilled employees, and training vocational and skill-oriented individuals in many disciplines to meet the demands of the self-employed, national, and global labor markets.

Aim

To create skilled manpower by giving different types of skill-oriented training to the unemployed Kora labor force.

Objectives

  • Providing skill development training to economically weaker women and men, establishing a labor-based Kora labor force in an alternative profession, and producing a skilled labor force for self-employment.
  • Conduct programs in coordination and partnership with local bodies for the purpose of conducting training effectively and serving in the public backyard.
  • To increase the access of Nepalese workers with skills in the labor market by training the Nepalese in their working area to interfere with the increasing number of foreign workers in the labor market of the country.
  • Training of Dalits, marginalized classes, liberated Kamaiyas, oppressed, conflict-affected, indigenous peoples and the most backward classes will be included in the training and help to raise their standard of living.

Goals

Regular (6 months and upgrading training)

During regular instruction (6 months) at this center, electrical connection, plumbing, motorcycle repair, harvesting sewing, hair makeup, electronics and mobile repair, hairdressing upgrading, harvesting sewing upgrading, and other topics will be covered in greater depth. Those who have completed the 5th grade and the 2nd grade in the remaining training are qualified to participate in the electronics and mobile repair course stated above.

Youth Self-Employment Training (Basic)

Self-Employment Training for Youth (Basic) Beginner's Instruction (3 months) Ducker, carpenter, electrical connection, mobile repair, handcrafted (embroidered), hairdresser, harvesting, sewing, ready-to-wear design, plumbing, and other topics for local youth self-employment training.

Traditional short-term training

Short-term training is very prevalent (7 days) Traditional short-term training on issues such as haircut (Barber), general (motor winding), sewing machine repair, hand caution, dals and cushion making, etc., on the recommendation of local level or local level.
