Deans of IOST: Tribhuvan University
Tribhuvan University was established in BS 2016 (AD 1960). The very next year, the Faculty of Science was initiated under the leadership of Prof. Prashanna Man Singh (BS 2017 – 2019), the first Dean of the faculty.
Later following personalities took charge of the Faculty of Science as Dean: Prof. Asutosh Ganguli (BS 2019 – 2022), Prof. Jagat Bd Singh Budathoki (BS 2022 – 2023), Prof. Phanindra Pd Lohani (BS 2023 – 2025), Prof. Bhrami Dutta Pandey (BS 2025 – 2027), Prof. Shiv Shankar Singh (BS 2027 – 2029). Later, the name of the faculty was changed to ‘Institute of Applied Science & Technology’. Prof. Parashar Narayan Suwal (BS 2029 – 2030) remained the Dean.
Finally, the name was changed to the Institute of Science & Technology (IOST) in 2030, and Prof. Shankar Pd. Pradhan became the Dean, as follows:
