The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology reported zero percent capital expenditures in the third quarter of the current fiscal year. By the end of Chaitra, 46.90 percent of the allocated budget for the third quarter of the financial year (Magh-Chaitra) had been utilized.
The Ministry reported no expenditure for the third quarter, whereas the total expenditure until Chaitra of the previous fiscal year amounted to 42.66 percent. The Ministry has disclosed that in this fiscal year, they have expended a total of 42.66 percent, with current expenses at 37.46 percent and capital expenses at 0.14 percent.
For the current financial year, the Ministry's allocation stands at Rs. 63 crore 53 lakh for current expenses and Rs. 11 crore 43 lakh for capital expenses, totaling Rs. 74 crore 97 lakh. The Ministry has received foreign grants amounting to Rs. 2 billion 537.6 million (4.47 percent) and foreign loans totaling Rs. 4.94 billion (8.69 percent).
