UNESCO Paris has announced the opening of applications for the 2024 UNESCO Prize for Girls' and Women's Education. A total sum of $50,000 has been allocated for this prestigious award, welcoming applications from individuals, schools, organizations, and institutions. Applicants should be actively engaged in projects or programs aimed at advancing the education of women and girls. The Secretary's Office of the National Commission for UNESCO, Nepal, situated at Singhadarbar, Kathmandu, has issued the invitation, referencing notice number Chaitra 13, 2080.
Following a decision made on Chaitra 12, 2080, UNESCO Paris has formally requested the Government of Nepal to nominate candidates for the UNESCO Prize for Girls' and Women's Education for the year 2024.
