Triyog High School Emerges Victorious in Fifth Inter-School IT Quiz Competition

The Fifth Inter-School Information Technology Quiz Competition 2081, organized by the National Cyber Olympiad with the management of Paila Creation and sponsored by Techspire College, concluded on Magh 7th at the Russian House in Kamalpokhari.

A total of 32 teams participated in the competition, with Triyog High School from Dhapasi emerging as the champion. Mount SEB School, the Military Residential College, and Budhanilkantha School secured the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.

The competition, which involved 96 students from secondary-level schools in the Kathmandu Valley, comprised three rounds: qualifying, semifinals, and finals. Participants showcased their skills in various categories, including general IT knowledge, curriculum-based questions, logical reasoning, multimedia, defending, gambling, and gasping rounds.

The closing ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including the Chief Guest, Mr. Ramesh Sharma Paudyal, Director-General of the Department of Information Technology; special guests, Mr. Anton Maslov, Director of Russian House; and Mr. Pankaj Jalan, President of the LBEF Group of Institutions and Startup & Innovation Committee, Chamber of Commerce.

Triyog High School received a cash prize of NPR 25,000 and a trophy, medals, and other prizes. The second, third, and fourth-place schools were also awarded trophies, medals, and other prizes. Techspire College was the main sponsor of the event, with sponsorship from Russian House, iMart, Himalayan Nectar Honey, Maharshi College, INI Cinema, PCPS College, and Motor Services.

The main goal of this competitive event, which focused on information technology, was to provide students with knowledge of IT and help them stay updated in the field. The program was successfully completed, and the Founder President, Mr. Laxman Pokhrel, mentioned that they plan to organize the +2 version of the National Cyber Olympiad in the near future.

The event concluded with the winning team of Triyog High School cutting a cake, marking the successful completion of the competition.
