Tribhuvan University Urged to Implement Education Committee's Recommendations

In accordance with the decision made by the Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee on the 19th of Shrawan, 2080, there is a call for Tribhuvan University to implement the suggestions detailed in the subsequent subjects:

  • Tribhuvan University will promptly institute a scheduling system for managing student admissions, examinations, and results.
  • Emphasizing remote regions concerning community and individual campuses.
  • Facilitate the prompt submission of the higher education act to the parliament.
  • Discourage the outward migration of Ayana students and make the university an appealing hub by implementing policy, operational, and systemic reforms.
  • Adapt the curriculum to stay relevant and contemporary, bridging education to skills and skills to employment. Undertake essential measures to ensure practicality.

 

  • Organize question papers in English and Nepali for general subjects except English and technical subjects.
  • Tribhuvan University's Research and Development Center should engage in student satisfaction surveys and professional consultation.
  • Counter instances of intellectual property theft concerning research papers within Tribhuvan University, fostering intellectual heritage.
  • Set up a mechanism for addressing complaints of mistreatment of students and female professors, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
  • Implement decentralized student documentation procedures for improved accessibility.
  • Develop immediate, medium, and long-term strategies for enhancing the quality of Tribhuvan University, including restructuring the student-teacher ratio.

 

  • Ensure timely publication of Tribhuvan University's results to prevent disruptions to education.
  • Establish contemporary and relevant standards for equivalency from Tribhuvan University.
  • Elevate Vibhuvan University to a Center of Excellence, prioritizing qualification systems and appointing professionally skilled professors to head departments.
