Mandatory Plagiarism Screening Standards
In accordance with the guidelines from the Dean's Office and the resolution passed by the Faculty Council on 2080/10/17, the following parameters have been defined for conducting plagiarism checks through the iThenticate software:
- Similarity Index: Should not exceed 20% for research papers at the Master's level.
- Small Matches Threshold: Established at 10 words.
- Screening Exclusions:
- Quotations and references are allowed.
- Matches below 1% from smaller sources will be disregarded.
- Abstracts, methods, and materials sections are exempt from the screening process.
