In a move to ensure the quality and credibility of higher education institutions in Nepal, Tribhuvan University has taken decisive action regarding the renewal of affiliations. Despite repeated public notices, a staggering total of 175 affiliated campuses have failed to renew their affiliations within the given timeframe.
Recognizing the significance of this issue, Tribhuvan University has issued a stern warning, stating that immediate renewal is imperative to maintain the affiliation status. Failure to comply with the renewal process will result in the revocation of the affiliation.
Tribhuvan University had previously released information on the need for renewal to the campuses and colleges currently in operation. However, the lack of response from these campuses has prompted the university to publicly disclose the list of non-renewed campuses, seeking their urgent attention.
According to the decision of the Tribhuvan University Affiliation Committee, detailed information and guidelines will be provided to the campuses involved, outlining the necessary steps to complete the renewal process. Additionally, any campus that has completed the renewal during this process must submit official documentation to the relevant dean's office for further action.
