At the National Entrepreneurship Conclave 2.0 hosted by LEAD College of Management in Palakkad, Kerala, two outstanding students from The British College, Mr. Tarun Agarwal and Mr. Sachet Roy, achieved remarkable success in the Business Plan Competition and Mega Pitch Festival.

Competing against 150 other teams from the 26th to the 28th of January 2024, Agrawal and Roy emerged as one of the 15 finalists. They presented their innovative concept, securing a top-five position in the technology sector startup and claiming first place in ideation phase plans. This outstanding accomplishment earned them certificates and prestigious awards.

Expressing his delight, Tarun Agarwal stated, “Collaborating as Business and Computing students, we were thrilled to showcase our innovative concept, still in the ideation phase. Our success is attributed to the invaluable support of Mr. Subodh Rupakheti, the TBC Business Incubation Centre lead, who played a crucial role in helping us stand out among tough competition.”

The students engaged with industry leaders and fellow entrepreneurs throughout the competition, providing unparalleled networking opportunities, enriching discussions, and valuable insights into the Indian business landscape. They also visited institutions such as IIT Palakkad's Technology iHub Foundation and PSG Steps Incubation Centre, gaining exposure to innovative ideas and prototypes.

Subodh Rupakheti, Lead of TBC Incubation Centre, expressed excitement, stating, "We are thrilled to lead in NEC 2.0, reaffirming our commitment to shaping the future of entrepreneurship. The collaboration with LEAD College of Management signifies a significant milestone, opening avenues for cross-collaboration, knowledge exchange, and developing a robust entrepreneurship ecosystem."
