The National Examination Board (NEB) has announced that the results of this year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE) will be published by the third week of Asar.
According to Dr. Ganesh Bhattarai, Controller of Examinations (Grade 10), the delay in results compared to last year is due to disruptions caused by teacher protests, which affected the timely checking of answer sheets. Despite the setbacks, the evaluation of answer sheets from most districts has now been completed, and the marks have reached the results processing center. The process of entering the marks into the computer system is currently underway.
The NEB had initially planned to publish the SEE results within three months of the examination's completion. However, protests led by the Nepal Teachers’ Federation in Kathmandu delayed the commencement of answer sheet evaluation by nearly a month, ultimately pushing back the result publication timeline.
Despite the delays, the board remains committed to releasing the results within the revised schedule.
