The National Examinations Board is in the final stages of releasing the results for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2080. The exams were conducted in Chaitra 15, 2080. Students can view their results at see.edusanjal.com once they are announced.
The results are expected to be published tomorrow, Ashadh 13, 2081 (Thursday).
In 2080, 554,414 students participated in the SEE, which took place across 2,064 exam centers in 77 districts, including one in Japan.
The results will be released in accordance with the grading directive of 2078, issued on Poush 7, 2078, and first amended on Falgun 17. The amendment includes a provision for a minimum of 35% for marginalized groups, which will be implemented starting with SEE 2080.
Information Regarding Secondary Education Examination (SEE) Results
Viewing the Results
The results can be easily accessed through websites, IVR, and SMS provided by eleven different institutions. These results are available on the National Examination Board's website (www.neb.gov.np) and the SEE website (www.see.gov.np). Information about these institutions is available on the SEE website. Additionally, a notice regarding this was published in the Gorkhapatra on 2081/03/10. Students can view and download their grade sheets by entering their symbol number and date of birth on the websites of Nepal Telecom, the SEE, and the National Examination Board Central Office.
Grading System
According to the Letter Grading Directive 2078 (including the third amendment), the exam results will be published using the letter grading system. To achieve the minimum grade, students must obtain at least 35% marks in both theoretical and internal assessments separately. For subjects with 75 full marks in theory, a minimum of 27 marks must be obtained, and for subjects with 25 full marks in internal assessment, 10 marks must be obtained.
Supplementary Exams
Students who receive NG in up to two subjects will have the opportunity to participate in a supplementary exam (Purak) to improve their grades. The exam will be conducted one month after the results are published, allowing students to enroll in grade 11 without waiting another year. The results of the supplementary exam will be published within a month.
Annual Exams for More Than Two NGs
Students who receive NG in more than two subjects can participate in annual exams for the next three years to improve their grades in the subjects where they received NG.
Annual Examination Schedule
The National Examination Board has decided that the next year's annual examination will start on 2081 Chaitra 7. The annual schedule has already been published on the SEE website, allowing students and schools to prepare accordingly.
Rechecking and Revaluation
If students are dissatisfied with their published results, they can apply for rechecking and revaluating their answer sheets. The application for rechecking can be submitted online through the respective website. After the results are published, detailed information and instructions will be available on the websites of the National Examination Board, SEE, and the National Examination Board Central Office.
Correction of Age, Name, and Surname
If there are discrepancies in a student's age, name, or surname, corrections can be made within five years of the result publication based on the admission card or a decision from the concerned Chief District Officer if the admission card also has discrepancies. Applications for corrections should be submitted accordingly.
Missing Results
If a student's result is missing for all or any subject, they should download the "Result Inquiry Form" from the SEE website, fill in the necessary details, attach a copy of the admission card, and submit it via email through the concerned Education Development and Coordination Unit or directly to the SEE Office.
