Grading System

According to the Letter Grading Directive 2078 (including the third amendment), the exam results will be published using the letter grading system. To achieve the minimum grade, students must obtain at least 35% marks in both theoretical and internal assessments separately. For subjects with 75 full marks in theory, a minimum of 27 marks must be obtained, and for subjects with 25 full marks in internal assessment, 10 marks must be obtained.

Supplementary Exams

Students who receive NG in up to two subjects will have the opportunity to participate in a supplementary exam (Purak) to improve their grades. The exam will be conducted one month after the results are published, allowing students to enroll in grade 11 without waiting another year. The results of the supplementary exam will be published within a month.

Annual Exams for More Than Two NGs

Students who receive NG in more than two subjects can participate in annual exams for the next three years to improve their grades in the subjects where they received NG.

Annual Examination Schedule

The National Examination Board has decided that the next year's annual examination will start on 2081 Chaitra 7. The annual schedule has already been published on the SEE website, allowing students and schools to prepare accordingly.

Rechecking and Revaluation

If students are dissatisfied with their published results, they can apply for rechecking and revaluating their answer sheets. The application for rechecking can be submitted online through the respective website. After the results are published, detailed information and instructions will be available on the websites of the National Examination Board, SEE, and the National Examination Board Central Office.

Correction of Age, Name, and Surname

If there are discrepancies in a student's age, name, or surname, corrections can be made within five years of the result publication based on the admission card or a decision from the concerned Chief District Officer if the admission card also has discrepancies. Applications for corrections should be submitted accordingly.

Missing Results

If a student's result is missing for all or any subject, they should download the "Result Inquiry Form" from the SEE website, fill in the necessary details, attach a copy of the admission card, and submit it via email through the concerned Education Development and Coordination Unit or directly to the SEE Office.
