The National Examination Board, Examination Control Office (Grade 10), has released the schedule for the supplementary (grade improvement) examination for the year 2081.
Eligibility
All the candidates who participated as regular candidates in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) held since 2080 Chaitra 15 and were unable to obtain grades or were absent.
SEE Supplementary exam will start on Sharwan 23, 2081 (August 7, 2024) and ends on Sharwan 31, 2081 (August 14, 2024).
The exam will be conducted from 11 AM to 2 PM. The office has stated that since it is the rainy season, conducting the exam in the morning has been avoided as students may face difficulties reaching the exam centers.

Earlier update
The decision has been made to conduct the SEE make-up exam starting from Shrawan 23.
This decision was made in today's National Examination Board meeting. SEE Supplementary Examination schedule will be made public only tomorrow. It has not been decided whether to conduct the Mathematics or English exam on the first day.

Keshav Dahal, the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology spokesperson, informed that the supplementary exam will be conducted until Shrawan 31.
The SEE results for the year 2080 were published last Thursday. The letter grading guidelines had arranged for those who received non-graded marks in up to two subjects to take the make-up exam. However, after the ministry amended the guidelines today to allow those who received NG in any number of subjects to participate in the make-up exam, the path has been opened for all such students.
It is estimated that the results will be published by mid-Asoj after the exams are completed by the end of Shrawan. There is widespread concern that by the time the results are published and those who have completed the SEE are enrolled in class 11, the studies might have progressed significantly.
