SEE 2081 Begins Peacefully

The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) has begun across the country in a peaceful manner.    
According to the National Examination Board, Examination Control Office, SEE has simultaneously started across the country from 8:00 am through 2,079 examination centers.    

Controller of Examinations at the Examination Control Office, Grade 10, Nandlal Paudel, said, "The examination is being conducted peacefully at the centers across the country.” He shared that security arrangements have been carefully put in place in each examination center.    

A total of 514,071 students are expected to appear in SEE this year. Last year, a total of 4,64,785 students appeared in the examination.    

A total of 29 students are also taking part in SEE at an examination center in Japan. Paudel informed us that the question paper was sent via e-mail shortly before the start of the examination in Japan.    

Students have also appeared for the examination from the Central Jail in Kathmandu, two prisons in Dailekh and children's correctional homes in Bhaktapur.    

Students from Kirtipur-based Success HIV Education House have also participated in this year's SEE, Paudel informed.

Arrangements have been made to depute an assistant superintendent and an invigilator equal to 20 students in the center with up to 150 examinees in the examination.    

The SEE, beginning today, will conclude on April 1. The exam is scheduled from 8 am to 11 am.
