Mid-West University Second Convocation Ceremony Held

Midwestern University's second convocation was conducted on Baisakh 06, 2079, and all of the university's bodies were given leave on Baisakh 07, 2079, in accordance with the customary practice of awarding leave on the next day of the convocation.

A convocation ceremony was held at the university's central office in Birendranagar Kuinepani in Surkhet under the chairmanship of Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University Sher Bahadur Deuba, with the chief guest of 2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi. Devendra Poudel, Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, was present at the event.There were 152 students from the Humanities and Sociology faculty, 122 students from Management, 85 students from Education, 15 students from Science and Technology, and 145 students from Engineering. Graduate, postgraduate, and doctorate students were all awarded by the university. Previously, on Ashad 19, 2074, the university had its inaugural graduation ceremony.
