Revised Notice Issued for Tribhuvan University Vice-Chancellor Nomination

The selection committee tasked with recommending candidates for the position of Vice-Chancellor at Tribhuvan University has issued a revised notice for the nomination process. The notice outlines the criteria and procedures for selecting and recommending the Vice-Chancellor, aligning with the working procedure related to the nomination and recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor as per the guidelines set in 2080 B.S.

The Vice-Chancellor position at Tribhuvan University, which remains vacant, is now open for recommendations through the established selection and recommendation committee. Individuals interested in applying are encouraged to submit their applications within fifteen days, adhering to the outlined procedures. Detailed information regarding the application process can be found on the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology's official website HERE.

In the event of any objections arising concerning the committee's set criteria for Vice-Chancellor selection, specifically point G of the criteria, it is noteworthy that the initial notice issued on Sunday has been officially revoked. Following the cancellation of the initial advertisement, a new notice has been released by the search committee, providing updated criteria and information.

The committee's January 05 publication emphasized that applicants must submit a certified copy proving a minimum of three years of work experience (including years, months, and days) in at least one university official position. Subsequent to objections raised against the initially proposed criteria, a fresh advertisement has been issued, incorporating revised criteria for the Vice-Chancellor selection process.
