Purbanchal University's 10th convocation ceremony was held today. Gold medals were presented to the first 42 students from various faculties of the university from 2074 BS to 2077 BS at the occasion. Only students who received gold medals were given the opportunity to attend the ceremony.
Devendra Poudel, Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, awarded the medals to the students.
The second convocation of Midwestern University will be held on Tuesday
On Tuesday, 519 students will be initiated into Midwestern University's second graduation ceremony. On this occasion, the university will also give gold medals to five faculty students.
Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University Sher Bahadur Deuba, and with the chief guest of 2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi, a convocation ceremony is being held at the university's central office at Birendranagar Kuinepani in Surkhet.
Dr. Liladhar Tiwari, Coordinator of the Convocation Ceremony Publicity Sub-Committee, stated Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Devendra Poudel will attend the ceremony. Before the commencement ceremony, the University Assembly (Senate) will meet.
152 students of Humanities and Sociology faculty, 122 students of Management, 85 students of Education, 15 students of Science and Technology, and 145 students of Engineering are being initiated. University is about to initiate graduate, postgraduate and doctoral students. Earlier, the first graduation ceremony of the university was held on Ashad 19, 2074
