Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) appointed two deans for the Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Animal Science, Veterinary Science and Fisheries.
According to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Punya Prasad Regmi, the Deans has been appointed from the names recommended by the selection committee. Prof. Jay Prakash Dutta and Prof. Dr. Hom Bahadur Basnet have been appointed as Deans in the Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Animal Science respectively.
In Faculty of Agriculture, three candidates including Prof. Dr. Arvind Kumar Srivastav and Prof. Dr. Arjun Kumar Shrestha were recommended. Similarly, Prof. Dr. Sumila Rai and Prof. Dr. Bhuminandan Devkota were recommended in the Faculty of Animal Science. Seven applications were received from both the faculties. The selection committee has recommended three of them.
