Tribhuvan University (TU) has welcomed Prof. Dr. Khadga KC as its new rector, effective April 12. He was appointed into the esteemed position by Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University, Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
The process for this appointment commenced back on March 28, when Prof. Dr. KC's candidacy was set in motion, endorsed by Vice Chancellor Keshar Jung Baral. However, due to being asked to reconsider by PM Dahal, the process was prolonged.
Prof. Dr. KC is a professor from the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at TU. His educational credentials include obtaining a PhD and engaging in Post Doctoral Research at Nagasaki University, Japan.
