Prime Minister's Call to Enhance Quality Manpower Production

Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal, also known as 'Prachanda', has underscored the importance of integrating international standards into the production of high-quality manpower.

During his address at the 13th meeting of the Medical Education Commission on Chaitra 9, 2080, Prime Minister Prachanda emphasized the necessity of incorporating both national and international studies, contexts, and requirements into the process of generating skilled professionals.

He emphasized the non-negotiable nature of maintaining quality, especially in critical fields such as healthcare, while highlighting the significant link between the quality of produced manpower and the availability of dignified employment opportunities.

"Active participation from the commission is essential in upholding and enforcing quality standards," Prime Minister Prachanda remarked, further adding, "Efficient production of skilled professionals and adherence to minimum standards in teaching and research are equally crucial and indispensable."

Additionally, Prime Minister Prachanda highlighted in the commission's report that the establishment of Nepal's medical education system as an attractive destination for international students seeking medical education has led to an increase in the number of foreign students. This influx of students has contributed significantly to the advancement of the medical field in Nepal.
