A total of 7,872 students graduated in the 20th convocation ceremony of Pokhara University held on Falgun 8, 2081 (February 20, 2025).
University Chancellor and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli awarded the degrees to the graduates at a special program organized at the University's Central Office located at Dhungepatan, Pokhara Metropolitan City-30.
Among the total 7,872 graduated students from different disciplines in the academic year 2024/25, only 4,643 graduates attended the ceremony. The graduates who filled out the convocation form issued by the university on the 5th-19th of Magh, 2081, participated in the ceremony.
The students with the highest marks in all postgraduate programs were awarded the Gold Medal by the Chancellor, Oli. Similarly, the toppers in all undergraduate programs were honored with the Vice-Chancellor's Gold Medal award.
The university has a provision to confer the Dean's List degree to those students who obtained a CGPA of 3.7 or above in undergraduate programs and a CGPA of 3.8 or above in postgraduate programs. A total of 745 students from various disciplines bagged the Dean's List Award. Around 40,000 students are studying in 68 different disciplines from campuses operating under Pokhara University across the country.
Pokhara University conducted its first convocation on 2085 Magh 7. Coming to its 19th convocation on 2080 Falgun 08 (20th February 2024), a total of 63,558 students have graduated at bachelor's and master’s levels.
