The Medical Education Commission (MEC) has published the first phase of the admission list for government-funded seats for post-graduate medical education (MECEE-PG 2025) in various subjects, including MD/MS/NBMS, MDS, MD Ayurveda, MSc Nursing/MSc Midwifery, MPH, M Pharm, MSc MIT, and MSc Clinical/Medical Biochemistry & Microbiology.
Candidates who appeared for the integrated entrance examination and were placed in the merit list published on 2081/11/15 are eligible.
The matching process was conducted according to the "Medical Education Integrated Entrance Examination and Student Admission Procedure (First Amendment), 2079." Candidates who were physically present during the first phase of matching have been allocated seats based on their merit and choice of institution and program.
Admission Schedule:
- First Admission Open: 2081 Falgun 25th, (March 9, 2025) 10:00 AM onwards
- First Admission Close: 2081 Chaitra 3rd, (March 16, 2025) till 5:00 PM
Terms and Procedures for the First Phase of Matching and Admission

Candidates included in the admission list must complete their admission at the respective university/institution within the date and time specified in the given admission schedule.

Matching has been conducted only for the subjects specified in the prior approval letter from the Ministry of Health and Population.

Candidates who enrolled in various postgraduate programs in previous years but left without completing their studies and did not complete the admission cancellation process according to the prevailing laws have not been included in the matching process.

Candidates who have been matched and granted admission opportunities must submit the original copies of the relevant documents they submitted with the application form at the time of admission to the respective university/institution.
- If it is found that false information has been submitted, the admission of such candidates will be canceled even if they were enrolled in the study.

After admission, students must adhere to the code of conduct of the respective universities/institutions.

Candidates studying for free in public educational institutions must compulsorily fulfill the terms by submitting a commitment letter as per Schedule-6 related to sub-rule (1) of rule 22 of the National Medical Education Regulations (with amendments).

Candidates who are on the merit list of the Medical Education Postgraduate Level (MECEE-PG 2025) integrated entrance examination and have obtained a Foreign Study Permission Letter (Eligibility letter) from the Medical Education Commission this year have been removed from the matching list.

The second/final Open House Matching for government group candidates will be conducted on 2081/12/08. Detailed schedule related to this will be published on 2081/12/04.

Candidates who participated in the first phase of matching, selected an educational institution and program, and are on the admission list will not be allowed to participate in the second/final matching.
