Oscar International College felicitated Young filmmakers

Oscar International College (of Film Studies) felicitated 10 of its students on Tuesday. The college prides itself in providing a creative environment for all its students and has been successful in creating talented workforce for the Nepali film industry.

Many students from the college have been getting rave reviews and awards from different film festivals. 

The ten students who were praised for their works were Niranjan Raj Bhetwal for ‘Kafal Pakyo’, Kala Sangraula for ‘Butte Jama’, Pasang Dawa Sherpa for ‘Kyar Kyar Pankha’, Sujit Bidari for ‘Sabitri’, Saroj Shrestha for ‘Voiceless’, Ishan Bhusal for ‘Penguin Revolution’, Shankar Dhital for ‘Nature Never Forgives’, Nawa Bijaya Prakash Shrestha for ‘Gathaso’, Rabin Sharma for ‘One’ and Nimesh Shrestha for ‘Choice’.

Professor Dr Abhi Subedi gave away certificates to the ten students who have been doing good work.

Campus Chief Binod Paudel believes that this felicitation will help the students develop their academic skills, their dedication and creativity.

Prof Dr Subedi and documentary filmmaker Shekhar Kharel shared their experiences of films and filmmaking with the students.

On the same occasion, the college also honored teachers Keshav Pandey, Manoj Babu Pant and Abinash Bikram Shah for giving students proper guidance.
