The inaugural Nisarga Warriors Interschool 3x3 Basketball Tournament concluded at the Nisarga Batika School playground in Rabi Bhavan, Kathmandu, marking a thrilling end to two days of intense competition. The tournament, which commenced on January 27, saw the participation of 16 boys' and 16 girls' teams hailing from various schools across Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur districts.
In an exhilarating final showdown, the girls' team from Radiant Public School squared off against KISC School, ultimately clinching the top spot. Meanwhile, KISC School secured the second position. The boys' category witnessed an equally riveting battle between Radiant Public School and Magus English School, with Magus English School emerging victorious and Radiant Public School settling for second place. Notably, Kaasthamandap School claimed the third position in the girls' category, while Ullens School secured the third spot in the boys' category.
The tournament's closing ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Narendra Thapa, the General Secretary of the Nepal Basketball Association, alongside Vice President and Youth Committee member of FEWA Asia. Among other dignitaries present were Principal Monica Pradhan, ECA Coordinator Sudip Rajbhandari, and Head of Administration Resha Pandey. These esteemed guests presided over the distribution of medals, trophies, and certificates to the first, second, and third-place teams, underscoring the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie that defined the tournament.
