The Nepal Sanskrit University and Maharishi International University, America, are to sign an agreement on the issue of study and research of Vastu Shastra (architectural science).
The agreement is going to be signed between the two universities on Saturday in Kathmandu, on the occasion of the concluding of the six-week workshop organized in Nepal, said Chairperson of Nepal Maharishi Vedic Foundation and former state minister Deepak Prakash Banskota.
Scholars from both countries are participating in the workshop. The six-week workshop was organized with the aim of promoting the study of Vastu Shastra. Both universities signed the agreement after scholars emphasized that knowledge and applications of architecture are indispensable for peace and prosperity.
Architecture is one of the 12 areas of Vedic knowledge that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi propagated worldwide. According to the Foundation, Such a program was held for the first time in Nepal.
A total of 24 architect engineers from 14 countries in Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Australia are participating in the program.
