Nepal Celebrates Excellence - 43 Students Triumph in Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards

Cambridge and the British Council have unveiled the distinguished recipients of the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards in Nepal. These awards highlight the remarkable achievements of secondary school students in Nepal who excelled in the November 2022 and June 2023 Cambridge examination series.

Over 43 students in Nepal have been honored for their exceptional performance in Cambridge International AS & A Level examinations, securing accolades such as Top in Country, Best Across, and High Achievement.

The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards program extends its recognition to students from more than 40 countries, underscoring the global reach and significance of Cambridge International Education. These qualifications are renowned for equipping learners with the necessary knowledge, skills, and understanding to succeed not only in academia but also in their future endeavors, with recognition from leading universities worldwide.

Reflecting on the achievement, Mahesh Srivastava, Regional Director for International Education at Cambridge, emphasized the pivotal role of Cambridge learners, stating, "Every element of a Cambridge education is meticulously designed to empower learners to reach their full potential and thrive in life."

During the awards ceremony, Harriet Gardner, Regional Exams Director for South Asia, expressed her enthusiasm, remarking, "The gleam of excitement in the eyes of these students speaks volumes about their passion, ambition, and anticipation for the future. Our commitment to examinations, whether it's Cambridge International exams, IELTS exams, or other UK qualifications, is rooted in our dedication to nurturing the aspirations and opportunities of young individuals."

The awards also commend learners who have demonstrated "High Achievement" in subjects that are less commonly pursued in Nepal, as well as those who have attained the highest cumulative marks across multiple subjects. These outstanding students have surpassed thousands of candidates worldwide who participated in Cambridge examinations, marking their achievements on a global scale.
