The National Examination Board (NEB) has issued a public appeal for the smooth and orderly conduct of the upcoming Grade 12 annual examinations and SEE evaluation process. NEB urges students, guardians, teachers, and all stakeholders involved in secondary level education to ensure the smooth checking of answer sheets of SEE and conduct Grade 12 examinations scheduled to begin on Baisakh 11, 2082 (April 24, 2025).

The board has issued  this notice acknowledging the concerns of students, guardians, and various stakeholders regarding the ongoing teachers’ protest for the enactment of new law safeguarding their job security. Further, the notice highlights the significant roles of teachers in the successful implementation of the upcoming Grade 12 examinations and SEE evaluation. 

The board assures all concerned that it is actively working to address the genuine grievances of the students and  recognizes students' concerns regarding their academic future. Moreover, the board necessitates the active participation from the teachers to manage the examination system effectively and stresses the importance of a conducive environment for students to appear in their Grade 12 main examinations without any undue stress or obstacles.

Furthermore, the NEB urges all school administrations, teachers, guardians, student organizations, and media outlets to play a positive role in ensuring a peaceful and fair examination environment. The board seeks cooperation from all stakeholders to conduct the Grade 12 examinations and SEE evaluation successfully, recognizing that the academic future of a significant number of students depends on this process and requests all the prospective examinees to prepare well for their upcoming examinations.
