The National Examination Board (NEB), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has issued an urgent notice addressing the spread of false information regarding the postponement of the upcoming Grade 12 annual examination, scheduled to begin on Baisakh 11, 2082.
In a public announcement, the board expressed serious concern over misleading social media posts claiming the examination has been postponed. NEB firmly clarified that no such decision has been made and that the exams will proceed as planned.
The board emphasized that all official exam-related updates are exclusively published on its official website: www.neb.gov.np. Students, parents, and educational institutions are urged not to trust information from unofficial sources.
Furthermore, NEB warns against the unauthorized use of its letterhead and scanned signatures to disseminate fake or misleading information. Such actions are considered cybercrime, and legal action will be taken against individuals or groups responsible, under existing cyber laws.
Students are advised to remain calm, stay focused on their preparation, and not be distracted by fake news. The NEB calls upon parents, teachers, and school principals to support a cooperative environment that ensures the smooth conduct of the exams.
