The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in Nepal is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for individuals and organizations making significant contributions to the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. Held annually on May 2nd, the National Information and Communication Technology Day showcases advancements and accomplishments in Nepal's ICT landscape. This year (2024), the ministry aims to recognize outstanding contributions through various award categories.

Categories Available for Nomination

  • National ICT Excellence Award 2024: Recognizing overall excellence in the ICT sector.
  • National ICT Excellence Award 2024 (Women): Celebrating the achievements of women in ICT.
  • National ICT Innovation Award 2024: Focusing on innovative contributions to the ICT field.
  • National ICT Award 2024 (Public Sector): Honoring significant ICT contributions by public sector entities.
  • National ICT Award 2024 (Private Sector): Acknowledging exceptional ICT achievements in the private sector.
  • National ICT Award 2024 (Private Sector-Provincial): Recognizing outstanding ICT initiatives at the provincial level.
  • National ICT Startup Award 2024: Celebrating new and emerging startups in the ICT sector.

Interested applicants can access the application form on the official websites of the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology: www.mocit.gov.np and www.doit.gov.np.

Completed applications must be submitted to the Information Technology Division of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology by 5:00 PM on Baisakh 4, 2081.
