According to the district education offices (DEO) of Kathmandu,
Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, six private Schools of Kathmandu Valley produces
nil results in SLC exam 2070 where as one public school also could not
succeed to make student pass in SLC.
A total of 53
students failed from the Kathmandu Valley, including 32 from six private
schools and 21 from public schools in Lalitpur.
The list of Kathmandu Valley School producing Zero result in SLC 2070 are:
- Bhadra Ghale Secondary School, Anamnagar
- Prabhat Secondary School, Byasi, Bhaktapur
- Pragati Secondary School, Bode
- Siddhakali Secondary School, Thimi
- Shikshya Niketan, Bhaktapur
- Welhams Higher Secondary School, Lalitpur
According
to DEO officials, most of the private schools in question had compelled
participation in the exams by weak students who were unwilling to do
so.

“All these schools are higher secondary, which means they are bound to run secondary level classes and show participation in the board exam,” explained DK Dhungana, general secretary of the Private and Boarding Schools Organization, Nepal, PABSON.
